Interesting...but not as special.

I'm not sure if people are aware or not but there has been a crazy-sic-unbelievable rush to get married on July 7, 2007. Imagine that - getting married on 7/7/7. Some are calling it lucky (Lucky 7 - get it?) while grooms-to-be love it because they're sure it's a date they'll never forget.

Hotels and wedding venues across the country love it and have been hitting future husbands and wives with jacked up prices. Price gouging - yeah or nay? You be the judge. I wonder what the bookies in Vegas are giving as the over-under??! I mean, I know 7 is supposed to be a lucky number but you can imagine if they just held out until October 10, 2010 (read: 10/10/10) - now that's a lucky wedding date. 9/19/08 is even better.

In other Team Brefanie news, we've just booked our hotel for the Mets-Cubs series during the first weekend of August. The Mets are playing Fri-Sat-Sun but I was only able to score 2 tix for Friday. (Virtual waiting rooms suck!) We'll be watching Saturday's game from the rooftops surrounding Wrigley. A-W-E-S-O-M-E. This also doubles as a great "kill-two-birds-with-one-stone" since Boogie is moving to be with her man.
