Brooklyn has a wonderful Bastille Day fete on Smith Street in Cobble Hill. The pictures, however, don't do a sufficient job showing you how many people were there. C-r-o-w-d-e-d. They definitely need to expand this to include additional streets.

P(ark)S(lope) Wedding Dress Blues
Damn! I feel so (not) badly for this lil lady. Her PS dry cleaner shut down abruptly whilst still having in their possession her wedding dress!!! Eeek!Who gets a wedding dress cleaned these days anyway?? I hope it was after the wedding and not during some "at home alone" time. And here I thought the latest trend was trashing a wedding dress. What? Don't believe me? Read about it here and here. For the record - this guy started it all.
In any case, trashing one sounds like a great way to salvage a dress that will be worn only once granted it's actually being purchased. Is renting one that wrong?

Brooklyn Wedding News
It seems that the lead in one of my favorite movies has Boerum Hill teenage hearts (read: girls AND boys) all a flutter with recent news that he is officially married. OK, maybe it's not official yet. I wonder if what's his name is J-E-A-L-O-U-S??. This video is a must see!
How fitting that a former lover has a similarly themed 'It' piece floating around this Internet/web/thingy space.
And you-know-who's place of business says this. I concur wholeheartedly.
And in even-more-exciting-i-heart-nick-news.
OMG - I just don't now how Josh Duhamel does it. Personally, I think the vixens of Casino (gratuitous NBC plug) are way hotter. Come on Josh - where is the love?

Breaking News!!

As expected Studio 6, Abigail Kirsch's place at the Crooklyn Navy Yard is out! Way too much cash. I mean, come on, the woman has a monopoly on weddings in the tri-state area - you know you're going to pay top dollar.
